Darla Amos is continuing to contact officers for next year and is making progress. A list of officers and board members for 2009-2010 is due to Kansas City April 1st.

A thank you letter was received from River City Ministries for our recent donation.
Una Carroll was today's speaker. She and her husband have a child with bilateral cochlear implants. She reported that this was the main reason she became an advocate for the deaf, and noted that Arkansas has wonderful services for the hearing impaired. Mrs. Carroll directs Arkansas "Hands and Voices" to assist hearing impaired children and their parents. They provide support, networking, and information/education for example. She then thanked us for our service to the deaf in our area, and expressed a willingness to consider joining the Club.
