Next soccer tournament is this weekend, April 18th and 19th. Willie Elizandro has the volunteer list. WE REALLY NEED some help! Willie encouraged all of us to begin participating in fundraising activities.
On May 6th, our speaker will be George Karpoff from the Attorney General's Office. Let's try to have a good attendance for his presentation.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS met as scheduled. Gayle Ireland presented the March minutes, which were approved. James Kelly also provided a financial report regarding funds in the Sponsorship and Operations accounts. Discussion followed, and that report approved.
Rick Scott arranged for a new format and printing of speaker certificates. He also suggested we update our Club [application for membership] brochure. In addition to considering another update, it was recommended that we review one of the membership brochures available through Sertoma Intl. Jim Stanley will bring one of those in soon, so Members can make a final decision.
We were glad to have our newest Member, Mike Vano, in attendance today. Welcome Mike!
